Why Black Women Are Single

Exploring the Dating Backlash Against African American Women

Home

"There are a number of legitimate frustrations that black men have towards African American women, but there is no mechanism for a mature discussion.  There is no constructive dialogue.  This plays into the 70% single rate that Ms. Oprah discussed. Too often we talk at each other instead of to each other and the result has been this internecine cycle of contempt.  I wrote this book to address this matter head on.  This is where the dialogue starts."
